Job summary

The Mallee Sexual Assault Unit - Mallee Domestic Violence Service in Mildura, VIC, is seeking a motivated Case Support Worker on a full-time 11-month fixed-term contract to assist Case Managers and support victim survivors of family violence across our sites.

You will maintain client files, coordinate referrals, arrange supports, and help with transport, housing, and refuge duties, with a focus on timely access to services and client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in client support roles within non-profit or family violence services is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple referrals and maintain accurate client records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with sensitivity to clients.
• Proficiency with case management databases and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain client files on SHIP/IRIS; manage referrals and housing applications.
• Assist Case Managers with brokerage, referrals, and Flexible Support Packages.
• Coordinate transport, accommodation, and material assistance for clients in crisis.
• Support clients in refuge and accompany them to appointments as required.
• Prepare and maintain refuge accommodations and engage with children during appointments.
