Job summary

Horizon Nexus Partners is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support a diverse client portfolio across multiple industries. You will manage day-to-day financial tasks, stay compliant and deliver high-quality records while collaborating with a supportive Perth team.

The role involves payroll management, client invoicing, reconciliations and contributing to monthly management reports. You will liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure timely, accurate financial information.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping experience within an accounting or professional services environment.
• Experience using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks.
• Strong reconciliation and accounts payable experience.
• Excellent organisational skills and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Processing invoices, receipts and day-to-day financial transactions.
• Managing creditor payments and preparing EFT payment files.
• Preparing and finalising client invoices.
• Managing payroll, including superannuation and salary sacrifice arrangements.
• Performing bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management reports.
• Supporting accountants and advisors with client work and financial information.
• Liaising directly with clients to answer queries and provide timely support.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes or highlight potential issues.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
