Job summary

IAIP on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join a well-established accounting and wealth management firm.

You will manage a diverse client portfolio with end-to-end bookkeeping, payroll processing, reconciliations, BAS/IAS/STP/TPAR reporting and strong client relationships.

This role offers a collaborative team, flexible hours and a modern office with ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally in public practice or client-facing roles.
• Strong Xero experience and knowledge of cloud accounting systems.
• Sound understanding of payroll, GST, BAS and compliance obligations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end bookkeeping for a diverse client base.
• Bank, credit card and intercompany reconciliations.
• End-to-end payroll processing.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, STP and TPAR reporting.
• Payroll tax preparation and reporting.
• Preparation of reports and documentation to support accountants and clients.
• Mentoring junior team members and building client relationships.
