Perpetual Corporate Trust (PCT), part of the Perpetual Group, is seeking a Client Associate to join our Wholesale Trustee team in Sydney. You will help oversee trustee obligations, compliance, and client management across allocated funds and structures, gaining exposure to custody, fund administration, and related operations.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in financial services or a related industry.
• Experience supporting client management or operational teams within financial services.
• Knowledge of fund structures and experience within the managed funds industry, including custody, fund administration, registry, audit or investment operations.
• A legal background and/or knowledge of trusts, how they operate and trustee obligations would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage allocated trustee activities and obligations in line with relevant policies and procedures.
• Monitor compliance requirements for allocated clients and funds, ensuring activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Process client and trust payments and expenses, including supporting trustee payment processing.
• Build strong operational relationships with clients and develop a working knowledge of clients supported by the team.
• Maintain accurate trustee obligations, client information and scheme records in Client Connect.
• Support finance activities including debtors, expenses, billing and the collection and collation of relevant data.
• Assist with CSA testing, board reporting packs, memos and ad hoc projects as required.
