Job summary

Blue C Coolangatta is seeking a reliable Cleaning Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team on the Gold Coast. The role requires hands-on supervision of daily cleaning operations and delivering high guest room presentation standards.

You will be responsible for preparing rooms, restocking supplies, and conducting routine cleans, while guiding staff to meet our service expectations. Flexibility for varied shifts and weekend work is essential, with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in housekeeping or hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, techniques and best practices in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform or supervise physically demanding tasks.
• Reliability and flexibility to work varied shifts as required on a casual basis.
• A customer‑focused mindset and understanding of the importance of guest satisfaction.
• Preferred: experience with housekeeping management systems or cleaning equipment.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and hands‑on Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Blue C Coolangatta.

The hours are approximately 4 to 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends.

Award rates apply including Superannuation and weekend loading.

The role includes

• Preparing rooms for incoming guests
• Replacing supplies and items in rooms
• Spring Cleans when required
• Supervising and supporting cleaning standards
• Presenting rooms to a high standard
