Job summary

Respect is seeking a Part-Time Services Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean living environment for residents, staff and visitors within a residential aged care setting.

You will clean resident rooms and common areas, follow hygiene and infection control guidelines, handle cleaning chemicals safely, and support the care team in delivering a home-like atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in healthcare or aged care settings preferred.
• Ability to follow infection control guidelines and hygiene procedures.
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to weekend work.

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards.

About the Role:

As a Part-Time Services Assistant, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working within a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared areas, and facilities while upholding high standards of hygiene and infection control.

This is a Part-Time opportunity and requires a reliable team member who is flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends where required. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a positive, home-like environment.
