Respect Australia’s Lyndoch Living aged care community is seeking a Cleaning Services Assistant to join a friendly, purpose-driven team. You’ll contribute to a safe, welcoming environment by cleaning resident rooms, shared spaces and facilities in line with high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in aged care or healthcare preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and infection control guidelines.
• Reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible to weekend shifts and varying rosters.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas.
• Safely handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures.
• Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality standards.

As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working in a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared living areas, and facilities while consistently meeting high standards of hygiene and infection control.

This is a part-time position offering 75 hours per fortnight. We’re seeking a reliable and dependable team member who is flexible to work a rotating roster, with shifts falling Monday to Friday one week and Tuesday to Saturday the next. You’ll take pride in your work and understand the importance of creating a comfortable, home-like environment for our residents.

No two days are the same! As Cleaning Services Assistant, you will:
