Job summary

Catering Industries Pty Ltd in Shell Cove, NSW is seeking a Cleaning Attendant to support our aged care clients with cleaning duties across resident rooms, public areas and dining rooms. You will perform sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming and participate in infection control, while maintaining cleaning schedules and safe storage of chemicals.

A current Federal Police Check is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain one
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a caring attitude
• Excellent communication skills, reading/writing/speaking English
• Knowledge of Work, Health & Safety and Infection Control

Responsibilities

• Cleaning in an Aged Care facility including resident rooms, public areas, toilets and dining rooms
• Sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, mopping and infection control activities
• Maintains records of completion of cleaning schedule duties
• Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including correct quantities.

Are you looking for flexible work and the chance to make a real difference? We’re seeking Cleaning Attendants to support our clients in aged care facility located in Shell Cove, NSW.

What we offer:

Roster: Tuesday from 7am till 1:15pm, Saturday from 7:30am till 12pm and Sunday from 7:30am till 2:30pm.

What we need from you:

A current Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)

Reliability, attention to detail, and a caring attitude

Duties Include

Cleaning in an Aged Care facility including resident rooms, public areas, toilets and dining rooms etc.

Sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming. mopping and participatingin the infection control program.

Maintains records of completion of cleaning schedule duties

Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including correct cleaning agents used in correct quantities.

Key Attributes

Excellent communication skills. Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.

Previous cleaning experience, especially scrubbing floors highly regarded.

Dedication and enthusiasm.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Safe use of chemicals

Knowledge of Work, Health & Safetyand Infection Control

High level of respect for the elderly and experience in aged care cleaning will be a bonus.
