Job summary

Catering Industries Pty Ltd in Romsey, VIC is seeking a Cleaning Attendant to support our aged care clients. Flexible shifts across Monday to Sunday, with casual and part-time opportunities and full training provided.

Duties include cleaning resident rooms, public areas, toilets and dining rooms, sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming and waste management, plus infection control practices and record-keeping. A current Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) and a caring, reliable attitude

Responsibilities

• Cleaning in an Aged Care facility including resident rooms, public areas, toilets and dining rooms

• Maintains records of completion of cleaning schedule duties
• Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including correct quantities

What We’re Looking For

• Current Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)


• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and compassionate with a genuine care for others

Duties Include

• Cleaning in an Aged Care facility including resident rooms, public areas, toilets and dining rooms etc.


• Sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming. mopping and participating in the infection control program.

• Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including correct cleaning agents used in correct quantities.


• Waste Management

Key Attributes

• Excellent communication skills. Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.


• Previous cleaning experience, especially scrubbing floors highly regarded.


• Dedication and enthusiasm.


• Ability to work as part of a team.


• Safe use of chemicals


• Knowledge of Work, Health & Safetyand Infection Control


• High level of respect for the elderly and experience in aged care cleaning will be a bonus.
