Job summary

Catering Industries Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking Catering Assistants to join kitchen teams across aged care facilities in Western Sydney, including North Turramurra, Fairfield and Parramatta regions. You will help provide meal service and maintain kitchen hygiene.

Qualifications

• Aged care experience is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing meal service to elderly residents
• Cleaning of kitchen, serveries and dining room setup
• Adhering to and completing quality assurance documents
• Washing dishes and plating of meals
• Preparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchen
• Function set up and clear down
• Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in day-to-day tasks
• Food and beverage service

Competitive pay: $27.08/hr + casual loading ($33.85/hr Mon–Fri for casual role)

Requirements

Current National Police Check (Federal Police Check) or willingness to obtain one
Reliable, positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team

Skills and experience

• Aged Care experience is desirable, but not necessary.
