Job summary

Catering Industries Pty Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join the vibrant kitchen team at our client’s aged care facility in Bayswater North, VIC. The roster offers variety with shifts across Monday to Sunday, approximately 38 hours per week, and competitive pay of $27.08/hr plus casual loading of $33.85/hr on weekdays for casual roles.

Flexible roster and weekend/public holiday loadings are provided.

Qualifications

• A current Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
• Experience in Aged Care is desirable but not required.
• Reliable, punctual and able to multi-task in a busy kitchen.
• Good customer service and presentable appearance.
• Access to own reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Providing meal service to elderly residents
• Cleaning of serveries and dining room set up
• Adhering to quality assurance documents
• Washing dishes in the main kitchen and plating of meals
• Preparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchen
• Function set up and clear down
• Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in day-to-day tasks
• Food and beverage service

Join Our Team as a Catering Assistant! We’re looking for enthusiastic Catering Assistants to become part of the vibrant kitchen team at our client’s aged care facility in Bayswater North, VIC. This roster is ideal for candidates who enjoy variety, stability, and a well‑structured work pattern.

• Rostered shifts across Monday to Sunday, with a mix of morning, daytime and afternoon/evening hours (approximately 38 hours per week).
• Competitive pay: $27.08/hr + casual loading ($33.85/hr Mon–Fri for casual role)
• Flexible roster: Enjoy flexible weekly hours, plus weekend and Public Holiday loadings

What You’ll Need
