Catering Industries Pty Ltd is seeking Cleaning Attendants to support our clients in aged care facilities. You will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, public areas and dining rooms across multiple sites in Queensland, with flexible shifts from morning to afternoon.

We offer an hourly rate with penalty loadings under the Hospitality Award and comprehensive training. A current Federal Police Check is required or willingness to obtain one, plus a valid driver's licence and reliable

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in healthcare or aged care settings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a caring attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Good reading, writing and speaking English.
• Knowledge of Work, Health & Safety and Infection Control.

Responsabilités

• Cleaning in an Aged Care facility including resident rooms, public areas, toilets and dining rooms.
• Sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, mopping; participate in infection control program.
• Maintain records of completion of cleaning schedule duties.
• Safe storage and use of cleaning agents.

What we need from you:

• A current Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a caring attitude
• A valid driver’s licence is required for this role.

Duties Include

• Cleaning in an Aged Care facility including resident rooms, public areas, toilets and dining rooms etc.
• Sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming. mopping and participatingin the infection control program.
• Maintains records of completion of cleaning schedule duties
• Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including correct cleaning agents used in correct quantities.

Key Attributes

• Excellent communication skills. Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Previous cleaning experience, especially scrubbing floors highly regarded.
• Dedication and enthusiasm.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Safe use of chemicals
• Knowledge of Work, Health & Safetyand Infection Control
• High level of respect for the elderly and experience in aged care cleaning will be a bonus.
