Job summary

City Facilities Management – Grovedale VIC is seeking a reliable part-time cleaner to join our evening shift team. You will help maintain activity rooms, amenities and shared spaces, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.

Applicants should have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and access to a smartphone for communications. Working rights in Australia and a valid driver’s licence are preferred; a Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning preferred but not required.
• Must have valid working rights in Australia.

• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as handles and switches
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures
