Job summary

City FM in Brisbane is hiring a daytime cleaning crew member to support our partner Goodstart Early Learning. You’ll maintain clean learning environments with attention to safety, hygiene, and order, working Monday to Friday evenings for reliable hours.

No heavy qualifications required; however, cleaning experience is preferred and you may need a Working with Children Check. A smartphone is needed for communication while on shift.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Smartphone required for work communication.
• Australian working rights.
• Driver's license and own car preferred.
• Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Follow OH&S policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred, not essential).
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver’s licence and own car (preferred)
• Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check.
