Job summary

City Facilities Management Ltd. is hiring a Cleaner for a part-time role in Mackay, Bridge Rd Qld. You will clean activity rooms, amenities and shared spaces, disinfect high-touch surfaces, and dust, vacuum, mop and spot-clean doors and windows.

The shift is Monday to Friday, 7pm–9pm, with reliable hours and a competitive hourly rate plus part-time loading. We value a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred, not essential).
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver’s licence and own car (preferred).
• Willing to obtain a Police Check or Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
