Job summary

CityFM in Byron Bay is seeking a reliable cleaner to support Goodstart Early Learning during the evenings. You will clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces, and follow OH&S policies to keep environments safe and hygienic.

The role requires a positive attitude, basic cleaning experience, and the ability to communicate via smartphone. Valid Australian work rights are required, and a police check or Working with Children check may be needed.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Own smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver's license and own car preferred.
• Willing to obtain Police Check or Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
