Job summary

City Facilities Management is seeking a dedicated cleaner for Byron Bay, working evenings 7pm–9pm in partnership with Goodstart Early Learning. This part-time role offers a competitive hourly rate and exclusive retailer discounts.

Applicants should have a positive attitude, basic cleaning experience, a smartphone for work comms, and valid working rights in Australia. A driver’s license and police/Working with Children Check are preferred.

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred, not essential)
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver’s licence and own car (preferred)
• Willing to obtain a Police Check or Working with Children Check.
