Job summary

Bolton Clarke is Australia’s largest independent, not-for-profit aged care provider. This role focuses on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the facility to support residents' comfort and safety in Belmore, Sydney.

You will contribute to infection control practices and assist with daily routines as part of a caring team, with opportunities for development. Ideal candidates have previous aged care or hotel services experience, reliability, and flexibility to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Reliability and shift flexibility
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Pre employment checks- complete a National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

The Role
