Job summary

Bolton Clarke is Australia’s largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider. We are seeking a part-time Cleaner - Hospitality Assistant to maintain high cleanliness standards across our Marrickville location, supporting our residents with a safe and hygienic environment.

You will join a team dedicated to delivering quality care, with duties including cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, while upholding infection control practices and flexible shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or hotel services desirable.
• Must have valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
• Pre-employment checks – complete a National Police Check.
• Willingness to work in a part-time role with shift flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness levels across all areas of the facility.
• Vacuum, mop and polish floors; dust and tidy rooms.
• Clean bathroom facilities and restock items on trolleys.
• Attend to residents' needs by ensuring bedside areas are clean and hygienic.
• Adhere to infection control practices to ensure a safe care environment.

Cleaner - Hospitality Assistant - Part time

The Role

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people's lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Reliability and shift flexibility
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Pre employment checks- complete a National Police Check
