Job summary

Allora P-10 State School invites applications for a cleaner to join our school community in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.34 FTE), 25.5 hours per fortnight. The role covers cleaning and sanitising across classrooms, staffrooms, the library and office areas, with a focus on safety and hygiene.

You will be supported with online training and resources to maintain facilities, equipment and security; view the role description for full responsibilities. Applications remain current for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of cleaning and sanitising across a variety of areas - general classrooms and staffrooms, Manual Arts areas, Home Economics areas, Hall, Library and main office areas
• Maintaining equipment, and appropriate use of chemicals
• Disposal of rubbish and litter control.
• Securing buildings, and activating and disarming school security systems
• Cleaning windows, taps, sinks, drinking fountains and cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities.
• Cobweb and mildew control by utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
• Maintaining and blowing paths and play areas.
• You will be supported with any online training required for the position.
