Job summary

Rockhampton Regional Council is hiring a Facilities Cleaner to service Council buildings and facilities, delivering clean, safe, and welcoming environments for staff and the public. You will work independently or as part of a team, operate cleaning equipment, and monitor supplies while reporting safety concerns.

• $48.56 per hour (LGIA Stream B Level 3 + Site + Toilet Allowances) + Superannuation

Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking reliable and motivated Facilities Cleaner to join our Facilities team. Reporting to the Supervisor Facilities Services, you will provide cleaning services across a range of Council buildings and facilities, helping to maintain safe, hygienic and welcoming environments for staff, visitors and the community. You will undertake a variety of cleaning duties, operate and maintain cleaning equipment, monitor supplies, and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Working both independently and as part of a team, you will contribute to delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer service across Council facilities.
