Job summary

Palm Lake Resort Upper Coomera is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team. This permanent part-time role supports residents and visitors by keeping the resort clean, tidy and presentable.

Work is scheduled for 15 hours per week across Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, contributing to a welcoming environment and smooth daily operations. We value detail-oriented individuals with prior cleaning experience who can work independently and manage a cleaning routine.

Qualifications

• Need prior cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial environment.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage a cleaning schedule.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas across the resort.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and rubbish removal on a routine basis.
• Ensure toilets and facilities are hygienic and spotless.
• Clean internal windows and keep equipment like fridges and microwaves clean.
• Tidy kitchen areas and restock consumables.
• Identify hazards and maintain a safe environment.
• Clean show homes for potential purchasers.
• Complete weekly tasks such as dusting switches and door frames.

We're looking for a reliable and committed Cleaner to join our Palm Lake Resort Upper Coomera team, whose attention to detail will ensure our resort remains a clean and enjoyable place for residents and visitors alike.

This is a Permanent Part-time role, working 15 hours per week, Tuesday/ Wednesday / Friday shifts.Your work will be essential to ensuring the resort facilities are clean, presentable and organised for resident and visitor use at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining common areas such as the pool room, office, hairdresser, gym, craft room, clubhouse, and library.
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and rubbish removal.
• Ensuring toilet facilities are cleaned to a hygienic standard.
• Cleaning internal windows and ensuring equipment like refrigerators and microwaves are spotless.
• Tidying kitchen areas, including emptying dishwashers and wiping surfaces.
• Replenishing supplies such as coffee, tea, and other consumables.
• Identifying and eliminating hazards, such as slippery floors or obstacles, to ensure safety.
• Cleaning stock and display homes for potential purchasers.
• Weekly tasks such as cleaning light switches, power points, door frames, and dusting cobwebs.
• Other cleaning duties as directed by the resort managers.
