Job summary

Palm Lake Group on the Gold Coast is seeking a reliable Cleaner for Palm Lake Resort Upper Coomera. This permanent part-time position offers 15 hours per week with Tue/Wed/Fri shifts to keep resort facilities clean and welcoming for residents and visitors.

You will maintain pool room, office, gym, clubhouse, library, and other common areas, ensuring hygienic standards and a tidy environment. Prior cleaning experience is preferred, with a positive, self-driven approach valued.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage a cleaning schedule effectively.
• Positive attitude and a proactive approach to ensuring the resort is always at its best.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas such as the pool room, office, gym, clubhouse, and library.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and remove rubbish.
• Ensure toilet facilities are cleaned to a hygienic standard.
• Clean internal windows and keep refrigerators and microwaves spotless.
• Tidy kitchen areas, empty dishwashers, wipe surfaces.
• Replenish supplies such as coffee, tea, and other consumables.
• Identify and eliminate hazards to ensure safety.
• Clean stock and display homes for potential purchasers.
• Weekly tasks include cleaning light switches, power points, door frames, and dusting cobwebs.
• Other cleaning duties as directed by the resort managers.

Position Details

We're looking for a reliable and committed Cleaner to join our Palm Lake Resort Upper Coomera team, whose attention to detail will ensure our resort remains a clean and enjoyable place for residents and visitors alike.

This is a Permanent Part-time role, working 15 hours per week, Tuesday/ Wednesday / Friday shifts. Your work will be essential to ensuring the resort facilities are clean, presentable and organised for resident and visitor use at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining common areas such as the pool room, office, hairdresser, gym, craft room, clubhouse, and library.
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and rubbish removal.
• Ensuring toilet facilities are cleaned to a hygienic standard.
• Cleaning internal windows and ensuring equipment like refrigerators and microwaves are spotless.
• Tidying kitchen areas, including emptying dishwashers and wiping surfaces.
• Replenishing supplies such as coffee, tea, and other consumables.
• Identifying and eliminating hazards, such as slippery floors or obstacles, to ensure safety.
• Cleaning stock and display homes for potential purchasers.
• Weekly tasks such as cleaning light switches, power points, door frames, and dusting cobwebs.
• Other cleaning duties as directed by the resort managers.
