Job summary

Palm Lake Group in Upper Coomera is seeking a reliable part-time Cleaner to maintain the resort's cleanliness and presentation. You will support residents and visitors by keeping areas pristine and welcoming.

Working 15 hours per week on Tue/Wed/Fri, you will ensure all common spaces—from pool area to library—remain spotless and well-organized, contributing to a warm, vibrant community environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning environments, preferably commercial.
• Ability to manage a cleaning schedule with minimal supervision.
• Strong eye for detail and pride in presentation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas (pool room, office, hairdresser, gym, craft room, clubhouse, library).
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and remove rubbish.
• Ensure toilets are hygienic and clean.
• Clean internal windows and keep equipment spotless.
• Tidy kitchens; unload dishwashers; wipe surfaces.
• Replenish supplies (coffee, tea, etc.).
• Identify hazards and remove obstacles to ensure safety.
• Clean stock and display homes for potential purchasers.
• Weekly tasks: clean light switches, power points, door frames, dust cobwebs.
• Perform other duties as directed by resort managers.

Position Details

We're looking for a reliable and committed Cleaner to join our Palm Lake Resort Upper Coomera team, whose attention to detail will ensure our resort remains a clean and enjoyable place for residents and visitors alike.

This is a Permanent Part-time role, working 15 hours per week, Tuesday/ Wednesday / Friday shifts.Your work will be essential to ensuring the resort facilities are clean, presentable and organised for resident and visitor use at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining common areas such as the pool room, office, hairdresser, gym, craft room, clubhouse, and library.
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and rubbish removal.
• Ensuring toilet facilities are cleaned to a hygienic standard.
• Cleaning internal windows and ensuring equipment like refrigerators and microwaves are spotless.
• Tidying kitchen areas, including emptying dishwashers and wiping surfaces.
• Replenishing supplies such as coffee, tea, and other consumables.
• Identifying and eliminating hazards, such as slippery floors or obstacles, to ensure safety.
• Cleaning stock and display homes for potential purchasers.
• Weekly tasks such as cleaning light switches, power points, door frames, and dusting cobwebs.
• Other cleaning duties as directed by the resort managers.
