Job summary

Palm Lake Resort Forster Lakes is seeking a professional Resort Administrator to support caretakers and residents with warm, efficient administration and customer service in a friendly team.

This full-time role (38 hours, Mon–Fri) focuses on accurate record keeping, banking tasks, event coordination, and delivering a welcoming environment to residents and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years’ experience in an administrative or sales support role.
  • Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
  • A proactive, positive, and professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A current C-class driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and engaging welcome to all residents, guests and visitors.
  • Assist with banking, mail, purchase orders, expenditure requests, and invoice preparation.
  • Maintain and control the resort’s key register and ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Answer telephone enquiries and perform mail-outs as required.
  • Gather and collate data, create and maintain documents and spreadsheets, and manage printing and distribution needs.
  • Assist with planning and co-ordination of resort functions, bistro meals, and sales events - including set-up and attendance.
  • Produce and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, and forms.
  • Maintain confidential records and filing systems.
  • Manage petty cash control and reconciliation.
  • Support the Resort Manager with general administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as required.

Position Details

We’re looking for a professional and motivated Resort Administrator to join our Palm Lake Resort Forster Lakes team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the Resort Caretakers through a variety of administrative, financial, and customer service duties that help keep our resort running smoothly and efficiently. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday on a 38-hour week. Your work will be central to maintaining an organised and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and team members alike.
