Job summary

Medirest is hiring a casual cleaner for North Canberra Hospital. Shifts run 6am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with casual loading. Join a team that supports Australia’s vulnerable and makes a real difference in patient care.

Role includes rapid spill response, using specialised cleaning equipment and safe waste handling within a healthcare setting. Police clearance and vaccination evidence may be required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Police Check: possess a National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain one).
• Serology: evidence of required vaccinations as part of onboarding clearance.
• Ability to deal with what is in front of them.
• Comfortable learning and following new processes and policies.
