Job summary

Millennium Services Group in NSW Gosford is seeking enthusiastic cleaners for our retail store cleaning team. This full-time day shift role requires attention to detail and the ability to maintain clean, welcoming spaces for clients and customers.

Availability to work on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required; duties include general cleaning, floor care, toilets, emptying bins, and reporting hazards. Paid according to relevant Award rates.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail/commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy shopping centre.
• Reliable and punctual with good communication.
• Availability for weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties throughout the shopping centre to a high standard.
• Complete detailed cleaning of floors, corners, edges, furniture, signage, and other surfaces.
• Regularly inspect, clean, and refresh public toilets, accessible toilets, and parent rooms.
• Replenish toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and other consumables.
• Empty bins, collect rubbish, and complete regular bin runs.
• Sweep and mop floors, and promptly attend to spills.
• Clean internal glass, mirrors, and high-touch surfaces.
• Complete scheduled deep-cleaning tasks and maintain assigned areas throughout the shift.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, and stock shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

The Role

About You

• Previous retail/commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
• Experience with detailed cleaning and maintaining public amenities is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy shopping centre.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A good understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
• Availability to work the required roster, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
• Experience operating cleaning equipment, including scrubbers and buffers, is an advantage.
