Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high-impact teaching strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning, using data to inform teaching.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching duties and organizational tasks as directed by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Support student wellbeing and inclusive schooling through targeted interventions.
