• Ability to monitor and assess student learning, using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the wider school community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other teaching-related and organisational duties as directed by the principal.
• Prepare and contribute to school policies and priorities; support staff to improve instructional practice.
• Supervise and train student teachers as required and use student data to inform teaching approaches.
