Job summary

Mother Teresa Primary School in Canberra’s Gungahlin region invites applications for a Classroom Support Assistant Level 4 to help teachers deliver the curriculum and enable students with diverse learning needs to participate confidently.

The role is part-time (12 hours per fortnight) with opportunities to increase as student requirements dictate. Salary is a $75,935 full-time equivalent plus superannuation, for eligible Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Qualifications

• WWVP clearance required.
• Certificate III in School-based Education Support or ITE program/experience in classroom support.
• Accreditation under Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers to help all students access and participate in the curriculum.
• Assist with diverse learning needs to enable independent learning.
• Contribute to inclusive practices and student wellbeing.
