ACT Education Directorate is seeking qualified primary classroom teachers for long-term and permanent positions across Canberra. You will join a team dedicated to delivering high-quality public education in ACT public schools and support student well-being and achievement.

Qualifications

• Qualified primary teacher with a recognized 4-year degree.
• ACT Teacher Registration or eligibility.
• Working with Vulnerable People registration or eligibility.
• Citizenship or valid visa for Australia.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and teach kindergarten to year 6 using the Australian Curriculum.
• Foster positive relationships with students and the school community.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student wellbeing and outcomes.
• Apply teaching strategies to improve literacy and numeracy and manage classrooms.
