St Augustine’s Primary School Coffs Harbour is inviting applications for a part-time temporary Classroom and Learning Support role. The successful candidate will support students, including those with special needs, and contribute to an inclusive Catholic school community.

Requirements include NSW Working with Children Check and compliance with accreditation policies, with applicants asked to provide two referees. Commencement is 28 January 2027 for the 2027 school year.

Qualificações

• NSW Working with Children Check valid.
• Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy compliance upon appointment.
• Experience in working with children with special needs, including children on the autistic spectrum.
• Awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen.
• Ability to implement programs and document progress for individual and/or small group support.
• Experience in collaborating with teaching staff and readiness to undergo further training.

Classification & Benefits

This role is classified as Level 4 (averaged) under the NSW and ACT Systemic Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2025 as updated or reviewed.

Applicants Must

• hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
• comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Applicants Must Be Able To Demonstrate The Following Criteria

• a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.
• experience in working with children with special needs, including children on the autistic spectrum
• awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen
• ability to successfully implement programs and document progress regarding individual and/or small group support
• experience in working collaboratively with teaching staff in a classroom environmentpreparedness to undergo further training
