Job summary

Suncorp is seeking a CTP Claims Advisor to join our Statutory Benefits team in Sydney. You’ll manage a portfolio of claims, keep customers informed with regular updates, and liaise with medical and allied health professionals to support treatment decisions.

You’ll bring strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach, with experience in healthcare or insurance helping you build rapport with a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Experience in healthcare, medical reception, allied health, or sales is valued.
• Previous insurance or claims experience is desirable but not required.
• Great phone manner and rapport-building across diverse customers.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with learning new systems and using technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities across a portfolio of motor vehicle accident claims.

What you'll do:

• Manage day-to-day activities across a portfolio of claims
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide regular updates throughout their claim
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including medical and allied health professionals
• Gather and review information to make informed decisions around treatment and care
• Support customers through what can be a challenging and vulnerable time
• Maintain accurate records and meet legislative, regulatory and compliance requirements

What you'll bring:

• Strong customer service experience and excellent communication skills
• Experience in healthcare, medical reception, allied health, general reception or sales will be highly regarded
• Previous insurance or claims experience is desirable, but not essential
• A great phone manner and ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence using technology and learning new systems
• A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach
