Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ – Canterbury NSW is seeking a Class 5 licensed driver to operate a truck and trailer across civil projects. The role offers long-term opportunities with a modern fleet, based from the Yaldhurst yard and home every night.

Responsibilities include transporting aggregates, spreading materials, and safe vehicle operations. Experience with quarries, haul routes, and civil plant is preferred in this team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Class 5 licence with truck and trailer experience.
• Proficient jack-knifing and aggregate spreading skills.
• Experience transporting civil plant and machinery.
• Knowledge of Canterbury quarries and haul routes.
• Understanding of civil construction materials.

Join a respected Canterbury civil contractor and secure a long-term opportunity operating Class 5 truck and trailer units across civil construction projects throughout the region. Based from the Yaldhurst yard, you'll work across a range of infrastructure and earthworks projects while being home every night.

• $30-$38 per hour based on experience
• Long‑term opportunity with ongoing work
• Home every night, no FIFO or away work
• Weekly pay and consistent hours
• Modern fleet and well‑maintained equipment

Duties

• Transport aggregates to civil construction sites
• Spread roading materials using truck and trailer
• Jack‑knife trailers in confined work areas
• Transport machinery between projects and yards
• Complete daily vehicle and safety checks

Skills & Experience

• Class 5 licence with truck and trailer experience
