Empowered Recruitment is seeking experienced Civil Supervisors for FIFO road and infrastructure projects in Queensland. You will lead substantial civil fronts, coordinate crews and plant, and work with the project team to keep programs on track.
The roster options are 5:2 or 10:4, with an uplift paid on top of your base salary, offering long-term project security and opportunities to move between projects as the infrastructure division grows.
We’re working with a well-established civil contractor that is continuing to grow its Queensland infrastructure team and is looking to bring on experienced Civil Supervisors for a strong pipeline of regional road and infrastructure projects.
The big difference here is the roster.
Rather than committing to long 2:1 swings, you’ll work a 5:2 or 10:4 roster, with an attractive site uplift paid on top of your base salary while working away.
It’s an opportunity to earn the additional FIFO money without giving up half your life to the roster.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be standing on the sideline watching subcontractors do the work.
You’ll be responsible for running substantial civil work fronts and keeping the job moving.
Working alongside the Project Manager and engineering team, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day delivery across:
You’ll coordinate crews, plant and subcontractors, plan upcoming work fronts, drive productivity and make sure safety, quality and programme requirements are being met.
Most importantly, you’ll be trusted to run your section of the job properly.
We’re keen to speak with experienced Civil Supervisors who have delivered road and infrastructure projects with reputable civil contractors.
You’ll ideally have experience across TMR or similar road construction projects, with a strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, pavements and general civil delivery.
You’ll also be someone who:
If you’re currently doing a heavy FIFO roster and would consider something that gives you more time at home without giving up the uplift, this is worth a conversation.
Equally, if you’re currently working locally and have been considering FIFO for the right project, roster and package, it could be a very good time to make the move.
