Fyfe in Darwin is seeking an experienced Civil Section Manager to lead our Engineering team, blending technical excellence, project delivery and people leadership in a senior role. You will drive client engagement, mentor engineers and help grow Fyfe’s civil capability across the Northern Territory while delivering safe, high‑quality infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
• CPEng status.
• Experience delivering road design and civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing engineering teams.
• Strong technical advisory capabilities.
• Established NT networks, especially with DLI.
• Experience managing scope, budgets, schedules and quality outcomes.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Commercial awareness including tenders and business development.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Fyfe is seeking an experienced Civil Section Manager to join our Engineering team in Darwin.

This role is ideal for a senior civil engineering professional ready to take the next step into a broader leadership position, combining technical excellence, project delivery, client engagement and people leadership.

What You'll Bring

• A Civil Engineering qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
• Demonstrated experience delivering road design and civil infrastructure projects.
• Proven success leading, mentoring and developing engineering teams.
• Strong technical expertise and the ability to provide trusted engineering advice.
• Established professional networks within the Northern Territory, particularly with DLI.
• Experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules and quality outcomes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and client relationship skills.
• Commercial awareness, including experience contributing to proposals, tenders and business development initiatives.
