Job summary

VINCI is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our national pre-contracts team in Australia. You’ll work with estimators, bid managers and technical specialists to develop winning tender submissions for major civil infrastructure projects, and then transition to site delivery to bring projects to life from the ground up.

This role spans the full project lifecycle, offering insight into winning work, managing risk, and delivering outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
Experience on civil infrastructure construction projects.
Exposure to pre-contracts, estimating, tendering or project delivery.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Review tender documentation, specs and client requirements.
Develop construction methodologies, staging and delivery strategies.
Assist with quantities, subcontractor pricing and vendor analysis.
Support design reviews and value engineering opportunities.
Contribute to tender submissions, methodologies, programmes and planning docs.
Coordinate with estimators, bid managers and operations to develop bids.
Post-award, coordinate engineering and construction activities on major projects.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
