Job summary

Bielby is growing and seeking Civil Engineers at Site Engineer, Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer levels to contribute from Pre-Contracts through project delivery. You’ll work with Estimating teams, help plan, price and mobilise with project teams, with some roles offering FIFO or DIDO options.

Our projects range from metro to regional civil infrastructure, with competitive uplifts for regional work. Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil construction or infrastructure appropriate to your level.
• Practical problem-solving skills and sound engineering judgement.
• Interest in both commercial and delivery sides of a project.
• Clear communication and ability to build effective working relationships.
• Collaborative approach across project lifecycle; FIFO/DIDO willingness for Senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction methodologies, staging plans and first-principles estimates with Pre-Contracts and Estimating teams.
• Identify constructability, resourcing, logistics and risks during tendering and delivery.
• Transition from tender to project delivery and own work packages.
• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, suppliers and resources to safely meet project requirements.
• Monitor quantities, productivity and costs; contribute to forecasting and variations.
• Build relationships across project teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Support a safe, inclusive and high-performing team environment.
• Senior roles: lead and develop others and contribute to broader planning decisions.
