Job summary

Bielby Holdings is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our New South Wales team. Based in our Precontracts function with a pathway to lead delivery on major civil infrastructure projects valued at hundreds of millions, you will shape methodologies, staging, and delivery strategies for tenders and projects.

Working with Project Directors, Engineering Managers and Estimating teams, you will develop robust programmes, orchestrate safe site execution, and drive performance across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• 8+ years' experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience on road, bridge, transport or major infra projects.
• Strong understanding of Design & Construct project environments.
• Experience developing methodologies, construction staging plans and delivery solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge across civil construction and project engineering disciplines.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability.
• A proactive attitude and desire to grow into future project leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, constructability and methodology input for tenders.
• Develop construction methodologies, staging plans, and delivery solutions.
• Assist with temporary works planning, site logistics and sequencing.
• Review design docs to identify risks and delivery challenges.
• Collaborate with estimating, commercial and engineering teams during tenders.
• Support tender workshops, risk reviews and value engineering.
• Assist in developing project programmes and delivery strategies.
• Transition to project delivery after award; provide engineering leadership.
