The Shire of Denmark seeks an experienced Manager Civil Operations to lead civil construction, maintenance, and depot operations. You will report to the Director Infrastructure and Assets and drive capital works, budgets and resource management to deliver high-quality community infrastructure.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, foster safety, and build strong stakeholder relationships while guiding strategic infrastructure outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or substantial equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, coordinating and delivering civil construction, maintenance and depot operations.
• Manage budgets, resources and equipment to maximise service delivery.
• Deliver capital works projects within budgets and schedules.
• Develop operational plans, service levels and performance measures.
• Provide mentorship to supervisory staff and operational teams.
• Foster a proactive safety culture and WHS compliance.
• Contribute to long-term infrastructure planning and asset management.
• Build relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
• Drive innovation using data and technology to improve performance.
• Advise Executive Management and Council on infrastructure matters.
