Job summary

Service Stream is seeking Civil Maintenance Workers to safely deliver field maintenance and minor project tasks under supervision in Happy Valley, SA. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a rotating roster and clear safety expectations.

Ideal candidates hold a current HC license and White Card, with Front End Loader tickets and hands-on tool experience. Expect outdoor work, weekends on a rotating basis, and a comprehensive rewards program.

Qualifications

• Hold a current HC truck license, relevant tickets and a white card.
• Front End Loader ticket required.
• Skilled with hand power tools and small machinery.
• Enjoy outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Day shift 7am–3:30pm with rotating afternoon shift (1 in 5 weeks, includes on-call and weekend).
• Permanent Afternoon Shift option (4pm start) with penalties.
• Able to work autonomously or in a team.
• Complete background checks including police clearance, medical and references.

Responsibilities

• Undertake reactive and emergency maintenance and related tasks using works management systems.
• Undertake planned/preventative maintenance and minor works, ensuring efficient delivery.
• Operate safely in line with health, safety and environment requirements.
• Assist with other field tasks as directed by Supervisors.

Civil Maintenance Workers will safety deliver the physical field aspects of planned and reactive maintenance, and minor projects under the direction of Field Supervisors in accordance with quality, time, cost and customer service requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Delivery

• Undertake reactive and emergency maintenance and associated tasks, ensuring the appropriate use of works management systems and procedures to facilitate optimum efficiency and effectiveness of work delivery
• Undertake planned/preventative maintenance and minor works, ensuring the appropriate use of works management systems and procedures to facilitate optimum efficiency and effectiveness of work delivery

Health, Safety & Environment

• Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations related to health and safety at all times
• Understand and comply with Service Stream's safety/environmental policies and procedures, and promote health, safety and environmental initiatives in the field
• Ensure that HSE risks related to operation and maintenance are considered at all times
• Actively participate in all site OH&S activities and initiatives
