Job summary

Service Stream is seeking a Civil Maintenance Worker for a full-time night shift in Hope Valley, South Australia. You will deliver the physical field aspects of planned and reactive maintenance under supervision, with a focus on safety, quality and timely delivery.

The role requires an excavator licence and experience, a white card, and readiness to work outdoors on a rotating roster. Safe operation of hand tools and small machinery is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a White Card.
• HR licence desired but not required.
• Front End Loader ticket desired but not required.
• Excavator licence and experience required.
• Skilled in use of hand power tools / small machinery.
• Complete background checks: police clearance, medical and references.

Responsibilities

• Undertake reactive and emergency maintenance and associated tasks with works management systems and procedures for optimum efficiency.
• Undertake planned/preventative maintenance and minor works with proper systems and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations at all times.
• Promote and adhere to Service Stream's safety and environmental policies in the field.
• Consider HSE risks related to operation and maintenance at all times.
• Participate in site OH&S activities and initiatives.

Job Description Summary

Civil Maintenance Workers will safety deliver the physical field aspects of planned and reactive maintenance, and minor projects under the direction of Field Supervisors in accordance with quality, time, cost and customer service requirements.

About the Role

Service Stream’s Maintenance Division is currently seeking a Civil Maintenance Worker to join our growing team.

Civil Maintenance Worker for a full-time nightshift position, starting at 4:30pm to 12:30am, Monday to Friday

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Hope Valley, South Australia
Reporting Line: Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake reactive and emergency maintenance and associated tasks, ensuring the appropriate use of works management systems and procedures to facilitate optimum efficiency and effectiveness of work delivery
• Undertake planned/preventative maintenance and minor works, ensuring the appropriate use of works management systems and procedures to facilitate optimum efficiency and effectiveness of work delivery Health, Safety & Environment
• Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations related to health and safety at all times
• Understand and comply with Service Stream's safety/environmental policies and procedures, and promote health, safety and environmental initiatives in the field.
• Ensure that HSE risks related to operation and maintenance are considered at all times
• Actively participate in all site OH&S activities and initiatives

• Full-time night shift position, starting at 4:30pm to 12:30am, Monday to Friday
• Night shift on-call and rostered Sunday shift 1 in 6 weeks.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
• Complete background checks; police clearance, medical and references.
