Job summary

Workfast is seeking reliable Civil Labourers for a major rail and civil infrastructure project in the Cootamundra region, NSW. The role offers $39.72 p/hr plus overtime and super, with a 10:4 roster, 7:00am starts, and up to 2 years on site.

Join a Tier 1 program delivering 35km of rail and civil works including earthworks, drainage, realignments, and rail corridor construction. On-site accommodation and meals may be provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Construction White Card required.
• Reliable transport to and from site.
• Previous civil or infrastructure labouring experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with cut and fill earthworks and site prep.
• Labouring support for plant operators, trades and concreters.
• Spotting for machinery and working around live plant.
• Installing drainage, rail fastenings, and structural elements.
• Cleaning and maintaining a safe worksite.
• Supporting multiple civil and rail construction teams.

Workfast is seeking reliable Civil Labourers to join the early stages of a major rail and civil infrastructure project in the Cootamundra region, just north of Wagga Wagga, NSW.
Pay Rate: $39.72 p/hr + Overtime + Super
Location: Cootamundra / Junee region, NSW
Roster: 10:4
Hours:7:00am start, 10 hour shifts
Start Date:ASAP
This is a long-term opportunity on a large-scale Tier 1 infrastructure program delivering over 35km of new rail and civil works. The project includes bulk earthworks, drainage, road realignments, and rail corridor construction — with up to 2 years of work on offer.

What You Will Be Doing:

Assisting with cut and fill earthworks and general site prep

Labouring support for plant operators, trades and concreters

Spotting for machinery and working around live plant

Installing drainage, rail fastenings, and structural elements

Cleaning and maintaining a safe worksite

Supporting multiple civil and rail construction teams

What you need

Previous experience in civil or infrastructure labouring
