Job summary

Bielby is seeking Estimators at all levels to join the NSW Pre Contracts team. You will contribute to major civil infrastructure tenders across roads, bridges, transport, water and renewable energy projects, supporting estimates, bid submissions and procurement activities.

You'll work alongside experienced leaders, benefit from a strong pipeline, and help shape Bielby's NSW leadership in major infrastructure. Eligibility to work in Australia is required.

Qualifications

• Experience applying estimating principles to civil projects.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and tender docs.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of estimates, tenders and bid submissions for major civil infrastructure projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation to identify project scope and requirements.
• Undertake quantity take-offs and pricing of labour, plant, materials and subcontract packages.
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Support the development of construction methodologies, staging plans and delivery strategies.
• Participate in tender reviews, risk assessments and value engineering initiatives.
• Assist with procurement and market engagement activities.
• Analyse project risks and opportunities to support competitive and commercially sound tender submissions.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers.
