Job summary

Federation Council, based in Corowa, NSW, is seeking an experienced Delivery Coordinator to lead operational delivery of civil infrastructure assets across the region. You will oversee roads, drainage, waste management, quarries, and the Corowa Aerodrome, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The role requires strong project management, WHS compliance, and team leadership. Fortnightly rostered days off and a supportive community-focused workplace are offered as part of a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Class C manual driver’s licence.
• NSW Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
• Demonstrated project management experience within an infrastructure maintenance environment.
• Proven ability to schedule work programs and coordinate resources effectively.
• Practical knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and plant/equipment limitations.
• Excellent working knowledge of WHS requirements and proactive risk management.
• Demonstrated capability in leading, motivating, and managing a team to achieve operational targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery across roads, bridges, footpaths, drainage, roadside furnishings, quarry management and Corowa Aerodrome.
• Coordinate works programs, assist with RMCC, set out construction sites, perform road inspections, and prepare Traffic Control Plans.
• Enforce WHS, conduct risk assessments, implement SWMS/SOPs, and investigate incidents.
• Supervise and mentor outdoor staff and contractors, conduct performance appraisals, and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Seek project quotations, monitor financial performance, assist in budget preparation, and ensure prudent expenditure within delegation.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call roster and respond to emergencies as required.
