Job summary

Menai Civil Contractors Pty Ltd is seeking 3 experienced Excavator Operators with strong trenching and drainage skills to join our civil construction teams across Greater Sydney.

You will operate excavators for trenching, drainage and earthworks, coordinating with drainage crews and site leaders to ensure work is completed safely, to specification and on schedule.

Qualifications

• SOA & VOC Excavator competency required.
• Proven excavator operating experience in civil construction.
• Strong trenching and drainage experience.
• Experience working around underground services.
• Ability to work accurately to levels and specifications.
• Reliable, safety-focused team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators to trench, drain and perform general earthworks, including stormwater, sewer and underground services excavation.
• Collaborate with drainage crews, Leading Hands and Supervisors to complete works safely, efficiently and to spec.

Civil Excavator Operator - Trenching & Drainage

Menai Civil Contractors is an established civil construction company delivering a diverse range of infrastructure projects across Greater Sydney.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for 3 experienced Excavator Operators with strong trenching and drainage experience to join our team.

About the Role

Working across civil construction projects throughout Sydney, you'll be responsible for operating excavators to carry out trenching, drainage and general earthworks, including excavation for stormwater, sewer and underground services.

You'll work alongside our drainage crews, Leading Hands and Supervisors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required specifications.

About You

White Card and current Driver Licence

SOA & VOC Excavator competency

Proven excavator operating experience in civil construction

Strong trenching and drainage experience

Experience working safely around underground services

Ability to work accurately to levels and specifications

Reliable, safety-focused and able to work as part of a team

Highly Regarded

Stormwater and sewer drainage experience

Subdivision and civil infrastructure experience

GPS or machine control experience

Competency operating additional civil machinery
