Job summary

Egis in ANZ in Queensland is hiring a Civil Engineer to deliver land development and civil infrastructure design and documentation. You will work on SEQ projects, focusing on drainage, water and sewer designs, and preparing development reports while coordinating with the Urban Development team and sub-consultants.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a consultancy, a Civil Engineering degree, a full driver’s license, and strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and grow client networks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a civil engineer in a consultancy
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
• Valid full drivers license
• Understanding of land development, storm water, civil infrastructure, roads/mining as applicable
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within budget and schedule

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage Civil and Infrastructure designs within broad acre greenfield and brownfield redevelopment
• Design of major and minor drainage infrastructure with hydrological understanding and water management
• Deliver and manage water and sewer designs in accordance with SEQ Water standards
• Prepare relevant servicing and development reports
• Collaborate with Urban Development team and sub-consultants
• Develop and nurture client relationships to generate new business
