Job summary

Egis is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Urban Development QLD team on the Sunshine Coast, focusing on land development and civil infrastructure. You will deliver comprehensive design and documentation across greenfield and brownfield sites, collaborating with sub-consultants and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a consultancy, a Civil Engineering degree, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll contribute to client engagement and business development while managing multiple

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a civil engineer within a consultancy
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
• Valid full drivers license
• Understanding of civil design principles for land development, storm water, civil infrastructure, roads and/or mining/resources
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within budget and on time
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisation and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagements and business development

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage Civil and Infrastructure designs for broad acre greenfield and brownfield redevelopment
• Design major and minor drainage with water management considerations
• Deliver water and sewer designs per SEQ Water standards
• Prepare servicing and development reports
• Collaborate with Urban Development team and sub-consultants
• Foster relationships with clients to generate new business
