Job summary

Egis is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Urban Development QLD team on the Sunshine Coast. You will deliver comprehensive design and documentation for land development and civil infrastructure projects, drawing on a portfolio of SEQ-based work and a growing regional presence.

Requirements include 3+ years in consultancy, a Civil Engineering degree and a valid driver’s license, with strong communication and stakeholder skills to drive delivery and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years' experience as a civil engineer in a consultancy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a valid full driver’s licence.
• Solid understanding of land development, storm water and civil infrastructure.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, keep to budget and timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage civil and infrastructure designs for broad acre greenfield and brownfield redevelopments.
• Design major and minor drainage infrastructure with hydrology considerations and water management.
• Deliver water and sewer designs in line with SEQ standards.
• Prepare servicing and development reports.
• Collaborate with Urban Development team and sub-consultants.
• Foster client relationships to generate new business opportunities.
