Job summary

Mildura Rural City Council, based at the Red Cliffs Depot, invites applications for a technical support role within the Infrastructure Works team. You will assist in engineering, road construction, asset management and capital works projects, contributing to planning, design and delivery.

The ideal candidate holds an Engineering/Drafting/Surveying qualification with project delivery experience, CAD proficiency, and a current driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma qualifications in Engineering, Drafting, Surveying, Civil Set-out or equivalent with extensive relevant experience.
• Experience delivering projects, including contract documents, estimates, supervision and site inspection reports.
• Proficiency in civil surveying procedures and CAD with ability to apply standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Infrastructure Works team in engineering, road construction and asset management.
• Assist with project planning, design, contract documents and investigations.
• Support development of project scopes and plans for the capital works program.
